I recently upgraded my computer to Windows 10 and realized that the generic scanner driver is missing. I have a Canon scanner and I've searched on both the Canon website and the Windows Update Catalog, but couldn't find a compatible driver for my device. Does anyone know where I can find a reliable driver link for the Windows Generic Scanner Driver? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

Troubleshooting Questions:
1. Why is the scanner not powering on?
Answer: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the scanner and the power outlet. Check if the power outlet is functioning properly, and try a different outlet if necessary. If the issue persists, consider checking the power supply unit or contacting technical support for further assistance.

2. What should I do if the scanned images appear distorted or pixelated?
Answer: First, make sure the scanner glass and document feeder are clean to avoid any smudges or dust particles. Adjust the scanner's resolution settings and ensure it is set to the recommended resolution for the desired output quality. If the problem persists, update the scanner driver, as outdated drivers can cause image distortion. Additionally, try scanning with a different software/application to discard any software compatibility issues.

3. How can I troubleshoot paper feeding problems with the scanner?
Answer: Begin by removing any wrinkled or torn paper from the scanner's input tray. Ensure the paper is properly aligned and not exceeding the maximum capacity of the feeder. Clean the paper feed rollers using a lint-free cloth if they appear dirty or sticky. Also, check if the paper guide is correctly adjusted to fit the size of the document. If the issue continues, restart the scanner and try adjusting the paper thickness settings in the scanner driver software.
