Asus X540Sa Touchpad Driver Windows 10 64 Bit

Post by Benjy1990 »

I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 64 bit and unfortunately the touchpad driver seems to be missing. I've been searching for it on the Asus official website and various driver update websites, but haven't had any luck in finding a working driver. Could someone please provide me with a direct download link to the Asus X540Sa touchpad driver compatible with Windows 10 64 bit? I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you!

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Question: Why is my touchpad not working on the Asus X540Sa?
Answer: There could be multiple reasons for the touchpad not working. First, ensure that the touchpad is not disabled by pressing the designated function key on the keyboard (usually Fn + F9). If that doesn't work, try updating the touchpad driver by going to the Asus website and downloading the latest driver for your specific model.

2. Question: My touchpad cursor is jumping or moving erratically. What can I do?
Answer: In case your touchpad cursor is behaving irregularly, consider adjusting the touchpad sensitivity settings. Go to the Control Panel or Windows Settings, locate the Mouse or Touchpad settings, and try lowering the sensitivity level. You can also try cleaning the touchpad surface gently with a soft cloth to ensure there are no debris or dirt causing the issue.

3. Question: The touchpad gestures are not working on my Asus X540Sa. How can I fix this?
Answer: If touchpad gestures, such as two-finger scrolling or pinch zoom, are not functioning correctly, verify if the touchpad gestures are enabled in the Windows settings. Go to the Control Panel or Windows Settings, select the Mouse or Touchpad settings, and ensure that the necessary gestures are enabled. If they are enabled and still not working, updating the touchpad driver or reinstalling it might resolve the issue.
