Driver Download Gtx 1060

Post by Carol1991 »

I recently purchased a GTX 1060 graphics card and I'm in need of the driver installation package. I've scoured various websites including the manufacturer's official site, but couldn't find a direct download link. I even checked the support page, but they only have outdated versions or firmware updates available. Can someone please provide me with a reliable source or a direct link to download the latest driver for the GTX 1060? I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Question: Why is my GTX 1060 not being detected by my computer?
Answer: There could be several reasons for this issue. First, ensure that the GPU is properly seated in the PCIe slot. Check the power connections to the graphics card as well. Also, make sure the motherboard BIOS and GPU drivers are up to date. If the problem persists, try testing the GPU in another computer to rule out any hardware defects.

2. Question: Why am I experiencing low FPS in games with my GTX 1060?
Answer: Several factors can contribute to low FPS. Make sure you have the latest graphics drivers installed. Adjust in-game graphics settings, as they may be set too high for optimal performance. Check for any software running in the background that could be affecting performance. Additionally, monitor your GPU temperatures to avoid any thermal throttling.

3. Question: My GTX 1060 is overheating. What can I do to resolve this issue?
Answer: Overheating can be caused by inadequate cooling or dust accumulation. Ensure that the GPU fans are functioning properly and that the heatsink is clean from any dust buildup. Consider improving the overall case cooling by installing additional fans or upgrading the CPU cooler. You can also undervolt the GPU using software utilities to decrease power consumption and heat output.
