Graphics Driver Download

Post by Chuck93 »

I recently updated my operating system to Windows 10 and noticed that my graphics driver is outdated and causing issues with my display. I have tried searching for the driver on the manufacturer's website, but unfortunately, I couldn't find it there. I also checked the Windows Update feature, but it didn't provide any driver updates for my graphics card. Could someone kindly provide me with a link to download the latest graphics driver for Windows 10? I am using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Q: Why is my display flickering after installing the new graphics driver?
A: The flickering issue could arise due to a conflict between the graphics driver and other software installed on your system. Try reinstalling the graphics driver by completely uninstalling the existing one and then installing the latest version from the manufacturer's website.

2. Q: My computer crashes when running graphic-intensive applications. What could be the problem?
A: Frequent crashes during graphic-intensive tasks might be caused by an insufficient power supply. Ensure that your power supply unit is capable of delivering the required 500W to properly support the graphics card. You may need to upgrade your power supply if it falls short.

3. Q: After connecting my monitor to the graphics card, no display output is shown. What should I do?
A: First, ensure that the monitor is properly connected to the graphics card using the appropriate cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, or DVI). If the connections are correct, try rebooting your computer and accessing the BIOS settings to ensure that the primary display is set to the PCIe slot. If the issue persists, attempt connecting the monitor to another compatible output port on the graphics card to check for faulty connectivity.
