Lenovo Y50 Bluetooth Driver Windows 8.1

Post by Annie90 »

Can someone please help me find the Bluetooth driver for my Lenovo Y50 laptop running Windows 8.1? I've been searching for hours and still can't seem to find the correct driver. I've tried looking on the Lenovo website and even checked the Windows Device Manager for an automatic update, but no luck. I really need this driver to connect my Bluetooth devices and it's frustrating not being able to find it. Any assistance or a direct download link would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

1. Q: How do I fix Bluetooth connection issues on my Lenovo Y50 running Windows 8.1?
A: First, ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on both your Lenovo Y50 and the device you are trying to connect. If enabled, try restarting both devices and re-establish the Bluetooth connection. If the issue persists, updating the Bluetooth driver to the latest version or reinstalling it might resolve the problem.

2. Q: My Lenovo Y50 Bluetooth is not detecting any devices. What should I do?
A: Firstly, check if Bluetooth is turned on in the Windows 8.1 settings of your Lenovo Y50. If it's enabled and still not detecting devices, navigate to the Device Manager, expand the Bluetooth category, and ensure that the Bluetooth driver is functioning properly (no exclamation mark or error message). If there's an issue, try updating the Bluetooth driver or reinstalling it.

3. Q: The Bluetooth connection on my Lenovo Y50 keeps disconnecting intermittently. How can I fix this problem?
A: To troubleshoot intermittent Bluetooth disconnections, try disabling power-saving features related to Bluetooth on your Lenovo Y50. Open the Device Manager, expand the Bluetooth category, right-click on your Bluetooth device, select Properties, navigate to the Power Management tab, and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." This might help stabilize the Bluetooth connection. Additionally, ensuring that your device's battery is adequately charged and within range of the Lenovo Y50 may also prevent connection dropouts.
