T460S Drivers

Post by Torie94 »

I recently purchased a Lenovo T460S laptop and I am currently in the process of updating all the device drivers. However, I am having some trouble finding the specific drivers I need. I have tried searching on Lenovo's official website, but I couldn't find the exact driver I'm looking for. I also checked the device manager, but it only showed generic drivers. Could someone please provide me with a direct link to download the necessary drivers for my T460S laptop? Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:
1. Q: My T460S is not powering on. What should I do?
A: First, make sure that the battery is charged or connected to a power source. Try a hard reset by removing the battery and AC adapter, then hold the power button down for 15 seconds. If the issue persists, it might be a hardware problem, and you should contact technical support.

2. Q: The display on my T460S is flickering. How can I fix it?
A: Firstly, update your graphics drivers to the latest version. Check if the issue persists in different applications or if an external display is connected. If the problem persists, try adjusting the display refresh rate and resolution settings. If none of these steps help, it may be a hardware issue, and you should contact Lenovo support.

3. Q: My T460S is running very slowly. What can I do to improve performance?
A: You can try a few things to enhance performance. Firstly, check for any background processes or applications consuming excessive resources and terminate them. Run a disk cleanup to free up storage space. Updating your operating system, drivers, and firmware can also improve performance. Additionally, consider upgrading your RAM or replacing the hard drive with an SSD for better performance.
