Windows Driver Thunderbolt Display

Post by Woody96 »

Hi everyone,

I've been searching high and low for a Windows driver for my Thunderbolt Display, but I seem to be hitting a dead end. I've scoured through the official Apple website, as well as various driver update websites, but I just can't seem to find the specific driver I need.

I have a Windows 10 operating system and I've already checked the Device Manager to see if it would automatically update the driver, but with no luck.

Could anyone please provide me with a direct link to the Windows driver for the Thunderbolt Display? I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance you can offer.

Thank you so much in advance!

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Q: Why is the Thunderbolt display not working with my MacBook Pro?
A: Ensure that your MacBook Pro meets the minimum system requirements and has a Thunderbolt port. Make sure the Thunderbolt cable is securely connected to both the display and your MacBook Pro. Restart both devices and check if the display is recognized in the System Preferences > Displays.

2. Q: Why is the resolution on the Thunderbolt display blurry or distorted?
A: Confirm that the display resolution is set correctly on your computer. Go to System Preferences > Displays > Display Tab > Resolution and select the native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. If the issue persists, try using a different Thunderbolt cable or connecting the display to another Thunderbolt port.

3. Q: Why is the Thunderbolt display not charging my connected laptop?
A: Ensure that you are using a Thunderbolt cable capable of power delivery. Check if the cable is tightly connected to both the display and your laptop. Verify that the Thunderbolt port on your laptop supports power delivery. Additionally, try connecting the display to another Thunderbolt port on your laptop to rule out any port-specific issues.
